A passion and a hobby

Keep at it

I love to do small and big illustration projects to keep practising my illustration muscle. I do this as a freelancer and as a volunteer.

Goal

The projects that I do professionally often include an illustration element. Due to a lack of time, we sometimes have to choose images that are somewhat limited in creativity. That's why I practice my illustration skills, through this practis I can create or retouch images faster and easier, which leaves room for handmade adjustments and personal illustrations instead of stock images.

Projects

* (Above) An illustration of two people calling eachother. It represents an inside joke.

* A window sticker for a rally car. The sticker is placed around a screen, and on the outside of the car is a joystick attached. People can play old games like PacMan, Mario and Pokemon.

* Blueprints that made it into a website that sells shirts.

* A book about Social and Emotional Learning, that includes excersizes, designed for Teens. I illustrated the cover and made the illustrations on the inside of the book (paid work).

* Illustrations that portray the lovestory of a now married couple, which was given to them as a wedding present (paid work).

* Posters and designs made for festivals and private collectors.

“Don’t let my name fool you, or my being scare you, for I am Nox the goddess of the night, not the darkness or the evil often associated with it. I have been doing the same now for thousands of years, working with my daughter Hemera, the day and my son Aether, Light in an unbreakable routine. This exhausting yet magnificent task causes the routine that you call day and night. Under my veil everything is some shade of black and only those adjusted to it can see it’s true colours.”

Every print starts with a cyanotype: sunlight, paper, and objects you might overlook as inspiration — a garden chair, a ladder, maybe your morning coffee setup. These designs are then printed, turning ordinary moments into quiet odes you can wear.This shop is small, personal, and built around my own curiosity. I follow what fascinates me, and every euro I earn goes straight back into experimenting, creating, and making new things — I do this for the joy of it. I hope you find something here that you will love to wear.
